Here's a highly sought after date, this 1912 S Peso, struck in San Francisco. This the last year of issue of this Peso, with a low mintage, most destroyed, melted, dumped in Manila Bay. Extremely rare date and rarely seen in this wonderful high grade. Coin has very nice detail with lots of lustrous fields. Exceptionally clean of field contacts and luster is very nice and consistent. Strike is weak on the high points on the thighs which is normal on these coins and sometime can make it look like circulated even though not the case, just a mint strike weakness. Not what you would normally see in heavy circulated or cleaned coin. A very nice and rare coin to addition to your collection.
