New Zealand 1946 Florin, CH AU, Flat Back Variety, Rare Grade, Sharp, Luster, Better Date, many circulated and melted. Rare to find in High Grade, with an Estimated mintage of a mere 300,000 and many circulated and melted. This one has the sharp Flat back and has five whiskers and not four, seen on the normal issue. This strike was a transition from old die to new die and 1946 Flatback reverse were struck during the transition to 1947. So very few coins were struck during this transition from 1946 to 1947, estimated 300K and now highly sought after. Normally seen in VF condition and Extremely Rare in AU to BU condition
