Cook Island 1976 5 Dollar, Ext. Rare Matte BU, Only 251 Struck. Silver coin with only 251 struck by the Franklin Mint to Legalize the Proof and Specimen Version of which many were minted. As for the Matte BU, only a small number were struck of which recorded 251 coins, but many were not released to the public. Only a few handful of the 1976 date were released, none of the 1977 and 1978 of which also a small number were struck, I am still hunting for these date and would be happy to pay a good price to see or own one. Anyway, the 1976 is the only Matte BU Circulation strike that is available to collectors and rarely will this coin show up on the market. A rare coin to add to your collection.
